Business Hotel Yamashiro

A wonderful place with a traditional style; the location is very convenient, making it easy to reach anywhere in Tokyo, with the train and subway stations very close by and a supermarket literally around the corner. The room was very cozy, and the bathroom, though small, was very pleasant; everything was there for a comfortable stay in Tokyo. The staff were very polite, lovely, kind, and helpful. Although the neighborhood is very lively at night, our room was very quiet. I would definitely recommend it.

Our room was actually a bit bigger than we were expecting as we stayed here for our first few nights in Japan. The staff were so friendly and overall was really great. Quite close to the Shinjuku station too and was around a lot of things

The only reason some people may not like this property is the location. It is in the red light district, so it may not be appropriate for those travelling with kids

I really loved that we were able to experience tatami floored rooms. Seemed quite rare as we stayed in 4 other hotels in Japan. While it was a bit moldy kinda maybe in some spots it seemed clean and comfortable. The foldable beds were comfortable and clean.

Slightly dirty but not unsafe. A little loud at night with party people walking home and thin windows. But cool it was able to open and look out to the street.
