La Charmeraie

The hilltop town of Montpeyroux is like something out of a fairytale, and so immaculately kept. There is a little cafe/bar just a couple of minutes walk away and there are three restaurants also minutes away. It's idyllic. We drove our own car and there is a designated area to park at La Charmaraie - the roads are narrow, naturally but manageable. Georges is very welcoming and ensures you have everything you need, the room is made up daily, the breakfast is lovely and so nicely presented. There is a large private terrace with table and chairs and two sun loungers and with a spectacular view over the surrounding countryside. Apart from your bedroom and ensuite, you also have your own private lounge room. As soon as we arrived I wanted to book to return, but the place is so nice that it is booked out months in advance!

Prix d'exellence. Het was voortreffelijk. Prachtige locatie. Ontbijt was geen petit dejeuner maar une oeuvre de l'art, een waar kunstwerk. Zeer aan te bevelen.
