It was sufficiently clean in the shared spaces, and provided bed sheets and towels were clean as well. Bathroom was nice, and kitchen had all the appliances needed for a breakfast.

The apartment is on the ground floor, and there are no proper curtains, that means both that the light from the streetlights and passing cars was quite visible and night, and also that anyone can theoretically look inside the room. Not that it bothered us too much, Aalborg is a safe city, but it's a bit too exposed even for Denmark, so letting future guests know :)

I loved that the place felt like a second home to me. The rooms are tidy,bright and spacious. The kitchen has the necessary tools for cooking.Overall maintenance was exceptional. The staff were friendly,welcoming and understanding and were cleaning the place each day i was there. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The surrounding is great. You have the possibility to walk up to the harbor and supermarkets are at a close range.

I’d a very comfortable stay in City Rooms. The room was basic but large enough and very clean. The kitchen was well provided for and I was able to cook several meals. The dinning area is in the kitchen on a small table. The apartment is 20 minutes walk across the bridge from the center of time but beware the bridge opens regularly for shipping.

The check in time of 1600 is late. I asked for earlier and eventually got into my room about 1500, which is normal. Also, the shower has no partition from the rest of the toilet bar a curtain. The floor gets wet around the toilet as a result. There is one bathroom/toilet for 3 rooms which wasn’t a problem for my stay but might be for others. Small things as I was happy with my stay.

The host was very friendly and quick in his responses to all my questions. He also could tell me where it was safe to park in order to avoid a fine. The location is v central and parking is free so it’s a big plus.

The pillows were too flat and soft so unfortunately my husband and I slept really badly. There were only 4 pillows & blankets even though we registered the stay for 5 people. There were also only 4 bath towels for 5 people as well. Even though we were told that there will be 6 towels available. Because it was just a one night stay hence I didn’t contact the host about this. I am sure that he would have brought what we needed if I had asked. We also could not get the kettle to work for some reason ( might be because we didn’t turn on the right button on the walls that connects to the electrical supply ?)
