The owners are amazing. Tyler helped us get situated, pointed out that the biobay was dark and recommended alternative plans, and was overall just incredibly accommodating and proactive to make sure our stay was fantastic. Proximity to the beach and shops is so convenient. We didn't get to spend a ton of time on the property, but we really appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse off before going into the bathroom. The all-natural shampoo/conditioner/body wash felt really luxurious! Really clean & comfortable stay.
Not a negative for everyone (I personally liked this aspect of the property, reminded me of my grandparents' home), but just a note for future travelers: If you're someone who needs total silence when you sleep, consider earplugs. From our room you could hear the wildlife (frogs, roosters)!

Very good location in Esperanza. We had a reservation of Bioluminescent tour in Esperanza, and it was walking distance from this hotel. Also there were a small supermarket and restaurants near the hotel. The owner told us his recommending restaurant, and it was actually great! It was convenient to use outdoor shower to wash off sand after enjoying beach. Shower in the room also worked well, having enough pressure for me.
Not really. If there was a mosquito repellent, it would be excellent, as a mosquito entered in the room and we couldn't catch it.

Tyler and his wife were so amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and they decorated the room out. They also gave us amazing recommendations of things to do around the island that we would not have known to do. Couldn’t have asked for a better host or better place. We hope to be back soon!

Hosts were nice and helpful. Coffee was provided. Nice location. Beach towels and chairs were provided.
The guesthouse needs some updating. Room smelled musty.
