Great location! The pension is conveniently situated within easy reach of many of the main sights in San Sebastián, making it a good base for exploring the city.
The pension is in an older building, and the room was quite cramped with only a twin bed that wasn’t very comfortable. The stairs were also difficult to manage with luggage, especially since there’s no elevator. The host didn’t speak English, but I managed to communicate with him using my limited Spanish. The location is great, but the room comfort and lack of an elevator are worth considering when booking.

Súper friendly staff. Location can’t be beat. Comfortable bed.
You must temper your expectations—Donostia is the most expensive city in Spain and you might be expecting a larger more luxurious place for the price. Don’t.
Would be nice if they offered a coffee machine.
