Lovely traditional Inn. Cosy bar with an open fire and nice restaurant.
The room was ok but the duvet on the bed was paper thin- more like a sheet and also very short.
Also the window did not open

Clean and comfy
Basic but everything you need for a short stay
Food was good and reasonable price
Staff were not welcoming. I understand the pub was busy with a quiz (which even thou we asked to join in were ignored and left out)

Would have liked breakfast to be served at 7am , we had to leave at 8am
Great location for us , and liked we could just go downstairs for a drink and dinner

Good location, close to town centre.
Dinner in the bar was quite good
Staff were a bit grumpy.
The whole place needed a good clean.
Scrambled egg at breakfast was poor
