โรงแรม ซิตี้พาร์ค โคราช City Park Hotel

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities including a nice upholstered window seat. We always appreciate having surfaces to spread out our suitcases; this room had ample space. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. And the price was definitely right. We were grateful the room included breakfast, since there were no other options around. The breakfast buffet was adequate - fish porridge the best part - and the serving staff really helpful. For instance, my husband asked for a lime for his tea. The staff person asked him how he'd like it cut!

The location was a disappointment. Because it's on a major road I thought there would be lots of services (restaurants and so on) but in fact the road is lined with car dealerships and appliance stores. We had to walk quite a long way to find dinner. The main historical part of the city, with the moat and the statue of Thao Suranaree, is probably 3km away. The hotel IS an reasonable walk from the train station (which is one reason I chose it) and very close to the main wet market (Ya Mo market) which is quite interesting. The hotel advertises that it is across the street from one of the biggest malls in the Northeast. This is true, but the mall itself is pretty boring. Also it's hard to get to as you have to climb stairs to get over the road.
