Cute little apartment in a convenient location. The mattress was A+, best sleep I had in a while. Host was quick to respond to an issue, and helpful in solving it (a place for our bikes).

There's a weird smell in the bathroom - even with the window permanently open it was noticeable. A similar bad smell was perceivable in the stairwell. The stairwell is pretty narrow, which might be a challenge for people travelling with heavy luggage - it wasn't for us, though, so not considered for our rating.

No bfast

No lift so has to carry my luggage up to 3rd story, heavy

Location

I did not thought that we could find a fisheye on a camera this efficient! With the pictures, you have the feeling that it is a proper appartement and not a room with no space

the location was great, very central. The communication with the host was fantastic, very responsive and fast. The apartment is in the middle of the town and the town centre was closed due to the Christmas market - so take this into account, you may have a short walk across cobbled roads to get to the property. The heating worked really well and the shower room was clean with shower gel and soap provided. The kitchen had some basic coffee and tea provisions which were appreciated. The directions were great and the keys were located exactly as the host informed.

The bed is on the small side and the sofa bed was not very comfortable and the duvet on the sofa bed was very small. Our 13 yr old son was OK, but it would not have been very nice if two people had to share the sofa bed. The toilet is directly off the kitchen area - not nice. The extra plugs are taped to the walls, they worked but did not look very safe. I have just re-looked at the photos on Booking - they do not reflect the lounge / living area of the apartment we were allocated. I was expecting to rent the apartment with the lounge shown in the photos, not the apartment we were given. The building / owner obviously has several properties in the same building.
