Location, staff, cleanliness, atmosphere, pool area
The pool bar tender could have been a little more dedicated to service rather than being on his phone .

As the name suggests the place is Serene. Very helpful staff. Green and peaceful . Old vibes. All facilities nearby. Decent breakfast. A 7/11 is dead opposite the hotel for emergency snacking. Our room was slightly cramped even though it had a king bed.
Nothing to highlight.

Ground floor room - almost side by side with reception and breakfast area
Nothing to complain about!

The staff is super friendly and the 2nd floor reception area is quite beautiful and calming.
The bathroom needs to be updated. The shower stall was quite grimy and the showerhead only worked intermittently. We were told that we were upgraded to a bigger bathtub but the bathtub unfortunately did not work properly.
