Mercure Parkhotel Mönchengladbach

Comfortable bed and room. Good reception with 2 staff on at a busy time.

Breakfast was not as good as I had hoped. Cooked food was of a narrow selection. No tomatoes. Quality of sliced bread was not so good.

Very nice hotel, very nice part of the town, very green. Excellent breakfast.

A good stay overall, but the lift needs updating Overall, we had a good and comfortable stay at the Mercure Parkhotel Mönchengladbach. The hotel is located a little outside the city centre, but we were aware of this when booking, so it was not a problem for us. It was easy to reach by car, and parking was conveniently accessible nearby. The hotel’s facilities were satisfactory, and the breakfast offered a decent selection. Some parts of the property gave the impression that improvements or renovation work may not yet have been fully completed. The main issue was the lift, which is clearly quite old and definitely needs to be replaced or fully modernised. We hope that updating it is included in the hotel’s future plans. Apart from this, the hotel was perfectly fine and our overall experience was good.
