Hotel Magdalener Hof

Location was great, free parking, very friendly staff, nice breakfast

Room was very cramped, balcony doors opened inward which took up more room! Room was hot, doors had to be open to cool it down as the air conditioning was either not working or set to heat! Was very noisy with the doors open and little room to manoeuvre once open. Restaurant in the evening was grossly overpriced for the quality. We were stuck in the furthest corner of a separate room on our own, felt like we were being segregated. The pasta main course was the only vegetarian option and it was not good. Tasted like a ready meal had been heated up and presented on a plate. For nearly €20 it was not as expected. Two beers, two mains and two desserts amount to just over €70! After staying thought despite lovely, the hotel was quite overpriced for a 4 star!

It’s just amazing! Everything’s perfect, the service of the staff, the room, the restaurant!!! And also the swimming pool is just wonderful!! A must stay in Bolzano and will be back again.

Nothing at all

Charming, well appointed hotel a little out of Bolzano. Very comfortable bedroom, superb, knowledgeable and helpful staff and a fabulous restaurant. Great bathrobes and towels for the pool.

Traffic on the main road across the valley is pretty audible, but wasn’t intrusive.
