Tynedale Hotel

Lovely friendly environment, good breakfast. Excellent choices.

The hotel was in a prime position, located on the main promenade and within a short walking distance to the town centre. It offered good free onsite parking. It was modern hotel that was tastefully decorated. It offered plenty of comfortable communal seating areas, both inside and out. What was an added bonus was, the outside seating offered overhead heaters. This enabled you to sit outside of an evening, whilst still being warm on the cooler nights. We stayed in a seafront room which offered amazing views of the seafront and promenade. The rooms again were modern, spotlessly clean and offered good amenities. The only bit of constructive criticism, I would offer was, there was no fridge, which would have been good. Food was of an excellent standard; freshly prepared, using good quality produce and was always hot. The staff were extremely helpful. They were polite, welcoming and professional. For those not wanting to leave the hotel in an evening, there was a licenced bar, offering a good selection of drinks, that were reasonably priced and table service was available. Also evening entertainment was offered, being local singers. Again, a good little addition, for those not wanting to leave the hotel of an evening.

I would have liked to have had fridge facilities witun the bedroom.

The car park was very small and had to park elsewhere. First come first served basis
