Located in a quietest street in the Fort area of Mumbai. Only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. The Bombay coffee house is a 1 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly. Could get clothes washed and returned very quick.

I liked the hotel location, the size of the room, the staff efficiency and the property. Well maintained heritage building. The location is very calm and peaceful, completely away from the traffic and city noise.
Hot water wasn't available in the shower, per se. It was always lukewarm water. Bathroom should have had a mat so we avoid slipping on the smooth tiled floors while stepping out. Pillows were also very thick and chunky and felt slightly uncomfortable.

The atmosphere as a whole and my room, with a lovely balcony, was very good.
The breakfast was a little plain in my taste, especially since I'm a frutairian and the choice of fruit and their quality was not the best possible.

The renovated rooms look nice.
The cleanliness and disturbances. I entered the washroom to find an old used toilet paper roll hanging. Also the utensils sent for in-room dining were not very clean. This particular room had a door to the adjoining room. I could hear the people in that room and they kept playing music until 3:20 am.
