Hôtel de l'Ange

Ontbijt was schitterend. De badkamer superklein. Onthaal zeer goed.

Het diner viel tegen. De tafels stonden scheef, wat niet comfortabel is.

Habitué des hôtels de Colmar et Turckheim, nous avons fait diversion en essayant l hôtel de l Ange.. Et avons été enchanté même si nous avions réservé une chambre simple (surface restreinte, mais suffisante dans la chambre, la sdb étant bcp réduite bien que dotée de tous les équipements nécessaires). Les plus sont le parking vaste et accessible.. Et le pt déjeuner à ne pas zapper car copieux, varié, local et j en passe.. Les prix fluctuent donc vérifier les offres sur les plates-formes et comparer avec le site de l hôtel.. Au demeurant le village est charmant au pied des vignobles..

De kamers waren in orde. Alles proper. Late check in ging prima.

Ontbijt van 7u30 tot 10u en rond 9u was al het stokbrood al zo goed als op. Mensen die iets later kwamen, hadden bijna niets meer. Ontbijt werd niet naar behoren aangevuld. Erg jammer.

Bed was very comfortable. The place is very authentic. Thr house is old, you can feel some history bihind it. There are several places to make a degustation of wine. But unfortunately they were all closed as we came on state holiday days.

The price is too high for this hotel. It's too far away from the railwaystations Turckheim. For us it was not big problem, as we like to walk, but It's a long way and even with a small luggage would be very hard to walk there. The breakfast was not included in the price!! And for 13,50€ per person the breakfast was really very poor. The total price of 106€ is definitely too high for what they offer. As we arrived on weekend and everything was closed, no shops around and we couldn't even buy water. The host sold us a small bottle of water for 2€. To have a dinner it was also a problem. There are only few restaurants in this small place and they all were closed. So we came bak to our hotel, but it was not possible to have a dinner , as you have to make a reservation in advance. So we suggested that we could sit ouside (as there are a lot of tables outside), they said "no, it can start raining". Then we just asked some wine and the plate of cheese, first they also said "no possible", but then the woman from the reseption (I guess it was a owner) solved it and we got the bottle of wine and plate of cheese (the price was 40€ ,also is not relevant for the 2☆ service). I would not recommend this hotel. For such price it is possible to find some better places.
