The fact that you have to pay a fee for food to be delivered to your room. Then secondly, the place is so big, so you can easily get lost, if they could have more signposts that are atleast 1.5m tall.

Very nice hotel & beautiful grounds, room very nice.

Almost everything. Although the hotel is on the edge of the huge sprawling Nairobi City, the stay in hotel is unusually calm and one can appreciate birds calling in the morning. Occasional flights taking off from Wilson Airport are not an issue, in my view. Those inclined to taste various foods, there are six different restaurants. I tried three of these, Nyama Choma came on top! The main International one was the second base for most of business meeting. Also tried the pizza but I was aware that ingredients may have been sourced from several thousands of kilometers from Kenya.

Being charged for breakfast. I took it as read that all my bookings here with reputable hotels were on B&B basis but unfortunately this wasn't the case here. Of course my employers were happy to pay but those travelling for leisure should watch out not to be saddled with unexpected bill.

Room was spacious.

Staff of the banqueting during conference was not careful: one kitchen staff bumped into me with metal hot tray that had a sharp end: it pierced and tote my blouse and pierced into my shoulder. I had to disinfect the wound. The reaction of staff was not what one would expect, especially in such expensive location. Good quality not great, also limited options during breakfast. Room service menu was incorrect so order was canceled. Gymclass started at 05.30, great bit not if your room is opposite that gym hall! Room had broken fan: only highest/fastest and noisiest mode worked… so no fan as the noise would have kept me awake.
