Spacious, clean and quiet rooms with everything you need. Reliable wifi, good breakfast (extra paid). The owner is really helpful, friendly atmosphere. Just some distance to the centre of Batticaloa.

We only stayed for a singular night but were very comfortable. We arrived in late on the train and our host communicated everything for us very easily to access our room after hours. We didn’t stay in Batticaloa for long but location worked for us as it was close to the train station and along a main road.

We stayed 1 night in Batti after getting the train from Habarana. This was the perfect place. The owner was super friendly and informative about the town. The room was great value for money. It was centrally located, the rooms were clean, decent warm showers, walking distance to Cargills Supermarket, and an easy Tuk Tuk ride to the main areas of interest. The beds were comfortable, a quiet night sleep. All round a really good option and at a great price.

Nothing. There wasn’t a breakfast but we didn’t need one as were up early to head onto Arugam Bay.

The room was extremely clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was very well maintained, and all the facilities were in excellent condition. We also really appreciated that the hotel has a shared area where you can heat up your own food and store anything you need in the fridge. There is also a toaster, coffee maker and other useful facilities, which is a very nice and convenient extra. The owner is lovely — very friendly, kind and attentive, and always willing to help with anything you might need. Although the hotel is not right in the very centre, the location is actually very convenient. There is a Pizza Hut and an ATM just next door, as well as two bakeries nearby, so you have everything you might need within easy reach. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again without hesitation!
