friendly and helpful staff
slightly, the distance to Birmingham City Centre, the bus service was good but I had to take 2 buses to get to my destination, my fault but I should have checked better

Room clean and tidy, good size bathroom. Host friendly and pleasant, cheap drinks in the bar!
Can not fault anything for the price!

Staff were amazing, friendly and all together great. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. There was a side entrance from the bar you could use to enter and exit freely. It was very close to city centre and we equivelently paid 12.50 each a night!
The bed was uncomfortable however we really did over look this as we could and will bring a mattress topper with us next year and we still wouldn't pay a fraction of the cost for a different hotel in such a close location to the city centre

Staff was lovely, food was great and the price was unmatchable. Getting to walk out of the room straight to a pub was a great experience!
We expected our room to suit our needs: to have somewhere to sleep and shower during our stay. We accomplished this, but having mold in the bathroom and no working ventilation at all meant the room was like a tropic after a shower. The staff kitchen also had a fire alarm low on battery for the whole stay (which beeped 24/7). When I raised the issue of the non-working ventilation to the barstaff, we were told there's nothing they could do. We didn't raise this issue higher up since it was a short stay.
