Arrived very tire and grumpy d the receptionist on duty a lovely fine spoken encouraged me chat and ensured I had time to decompress this little act of generosity of her time improved the whole weekend. All the staff extremely helpful and pleasant

Not enough tea put in the room yes you can get more from reception but as there is 4 coffee and only 2 teas seems fair to make it 4 for both Parking charges it's a machine that only accepts card would be nice to have option of paying cash to the reception as I don't always have a card

Very clean room. Soundproof. Friendly staff.

Extremely squeaky floor throughout all of level 1 and it's rooms. Avoid. Breakfast items, unfortunately were not hot enough. Cook less and put it out more often please.....it works in other hotels. Note in bedroom suggesting asking for a feather pillow if wanted. But, if you check in during the afternoon or evening as you should, then Reception say there are no housekeeping staff to provide one!

Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Staff were very friendly and the dining area was very clean.

My room (311) is clearly set up for disabled guests which is fine. I am able bodied. I was uncomfortable about the door adjoining room 310. Although I could see it was 'locked' there was a knob which suggested I could unlock so assume my neighbour could too. The door meant NO noise suppression at all. I could literally hear everything going on in room 310. I moved the table in front of the door to allow me to relax during the night. The car park was full meaning parking on the council car park next door. Fine except I had to get up early to put a ticket on the car by 8am.
