La Casa nel Parco

The apartment is situated in a quite, nice area of Naples with its own doorman at the beggining of the street. It is localized near the line 1 metro station which takes you to the city center. The apartment is clean, comfy, with pretty decent breakfast options as well.

Nothing, everything was great.

It was comfortable, tastefully furnished, simple, and very clean. All the necessary facilities were provided, from a coffee machine to a washing machine (although we didn’t need to use it). The neighborhood is quiet, well-kept, safe, and clean, with easy access to the metro and close to the city center. The breakfast was basic — although nothing was freshly prepared, we had milk, cereals, water, croissants, cookies, biscuits, toast, jam, Nutella, tea, and coffee available. So, considering the price, it was sufficient.

I wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like. We were a bit surprised to find, upon arrival, that someone else was staying in the neighboring room. Although it looks like an apartment for a single family, it actually has two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom, while the dining area is shared. It didn’t bother us at all — everything was comfortable and very civilized.

We had a wonderful stay in Naples and this apartment truly made our trip even better. The host and their family are incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is spotless, modern and fully equipped with everything working perfectly. It is located in a peaceful and secure area, away from the chaos of the city center, with a gated entrance and controlled access which made us feel very safe. The nearest metro station is about a 10 minute walk uphill so be ready for some slopes but that is just how Naples is. There is also a supermarket on the way from the metro to the apartment which was very convenient. The neighbors were quiet and we had no issues with noise. We stayed for 4 nights including the weekend and everything was smooth. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm and safe stay in Naples.

Big room, big windows, sofa, decent bathroom (small shower), complementary simple breakfast and coffee. Good value for money. Host was quick to response via whatsapp. There was a washing machine we could use.

Location: felt quite unsafe, chaotic and dirty streets, generally not very pleasant to walk around. The walk from the closest metro station was longer than expected. It was a bit of a hassle to walk with suitcases. There were no cafés or restaurants you could have a coffee or food, the area is mostly residential. Arrival instructions from the host: very vague, we just had the address but when we got there it was a private street with a gate, we were not sure whether we were heading in the right direction. Lack of natural light in the common area. The description says "La Casa nel Parco in Naples offers air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, garden or inner courtyard views, and soundproofing. Each room includes a tea and coffee maker, washing machine, and free WiFi." Please note this is not true, there are no gardens or courtyards, the building is surrounded by a parking area for cars. Also, the coffee maker, kettle and other amenities are in the common area, not inside the room.
