Eatons Hill Hotel

Good size room, comfy beds. Close to restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nothing comes to mind, it suited our needs for the couple of days that we stayed in the area

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was well-appointed and all fixtures easy to use/access and in good working condition - and with a couple hooks for hanging your clothes which always seem to be lacking in hotels! Has good storage and overall was in good condition. Love the automatic late checkout time of 11am. Place to put your luggage for easy access, which I note is not always provided in modern hotels for some reason, and conveniently right beside the wardrobe. This time I got to use the pool which I have never managed previously. While was very nice, you have to access through the front doors of the hotel, which seems a bit awkward, and while the pool is heated and undercover, it is still 'outside' the hotel. The walk to and from can be a bit exposed. Also seems a bit weird going in the front doors and through the main lobby in my dripping swimwear.

While there was a jug for boiling water and a fridge, there were no tea or coffee provided. And while I might have remembered to bring a teabag as I usually do, there was no cutlery or tea cups. Only wine glasses and drinking glasses. Also given the overall colour of the walls, cupboards and carper (predominently dark colours) it made it difficult to see things if you dropped something dark (like my comb!).

Our room was very clean and comfortable, The staff were nice. The location was perfect. There were shops and anything you really needed. I would definitely stay back at this hotel again. It was worth the money.!
