Generally clean with the exception of one pillow, good sized room. Liked open wardrobe facilities Shower worked well.
Had lots of hairs on one of the pillows? Single glazing sash windows couldn't be opened or closed and very noisy outside until late (ear plugs provided). Fan stopped working. Fridge was very noisy and woke me up in the night.

Convenient location.
Use of fan to keep cool appreciated.
Communication to get into the room was not great. Luckily the manager downstairs was able to contact the owner and get us the code required to enter. No communication received even after leaving messages on both phone numbers on the booking.com page.
Curtain rail not secure, fell off whilst opening them.
Fan in bathroom didn’t work, nor did main shower head above (if it does you need to leave instructi9ns)

Good location close to transport and restaurants
Quite loud. Music was playing till 1/2am both nights i was there making it difficult.
There is an UNDISCLOSED deposit / fee u have to pay. I found this quite dishonest as there was no mention of this on booking.com. once u book the place on booking.com , in order to get the codes/access to the residence u have to either pay a non refundable 30 pounds or supposedly refundable 200 pounds. This should be clear when booking in the first place.
Room is also smaller than what looks like on the pictures.
