CHE & JAMES FEMALE GUEST House COLON, CEBU

This is my second time staying in this guest house and I still like it. During my second day I booked the Deluxe private room and I love it so much. Very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only challenge is they are always fully booked so better to book in advance.

Excellent location, very clean and new bed, two pilloca and comfy mattress. Free water and free laundry service. They delivered my clothes in a few hours.

The toilet was smelling bad

Very clean. Perfect cool temperature in the dorm (AC). Hostel has just 1 dorm so it is very peaceful and relaxing. Free laundry service (give laundry to them until 7pm and get it back the next morning around 10am). I almost felt bad taking this service because I paid only for the hostel night almost what you would pay in some places just for the laundry. Location. Located in the heart of Cebu, close to the bus terminal and the port (around 15mins walking) as well as to the covered Puso food market. museums or the fort. The busiest shopping street with lots of shops, street vendors, malls, cheap fruit stalls is around the corner. Maybe not the best area to walk around as a solo woman at night, but for exploring it is the best location. Friendly staff. Free cold water and hot water, they have cups and cutlery there (eg for hot tea or noodles). Shampoo in the shower. Nice that it is only for women. Enough space in the room to put the luggage.

"Common space" (space between dorm and bathrooms) where the water is, is rather small.

The room was clean, tidy and well equiped.

Not many coffee shops around and not the best location either. The AC is a bit noisy.
