Daly's House

The place is beautiful and, if you are planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher, well located (if you do not mind the famously narrow Irish roads). Still, the destination was absolutely worth it! Sarah welcomed us and was genuinely one of the loveliest hosts we met during the trip. She offered us juice on arrival, and there were already some tasty treats waiting for us in the room. The room itself was comfortable for two people, but the real highlight was the view over the garden. Sarah kindly gave us a room overlooking a beautiful garden with hydrangeas, which she said was one of her favourite rooms. The view was absolutely picturesque. She also took the time to explain different routes and options for getting to the Cliffs of Moher, and asked us what time and what kind of breakfast we would prefer the next morning. Breakfast is served at an agreed time for each room. We were seated at a large covered terrace table and were joined by guests from two other rooms, so we all had breakfast together. It was a very charming experience. If you prefer more privacy at breakfast, it may be worth mentioning this to the hosts in advance, but we personally did not mind it. The hosts were warm, funny, open and incredibly welcoming. Overall, it was just a lovely and memorable stay. Would 100% come back if I ever feel brave enough to take on the Irish roads again :)

Everything was exceptional. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. I would have missed Cliffs of Moher fully if Sarah would not have told us to go right away when we reached Dalys. I was tired from 6 hr of driving from Letterkenny and was looking forward to just rest up. The next day it was pouring and foggy. Breakfast was wonderful and served in the most affectionate way. Dalys house was my best stay in our 2 week trip to Scotland and Ireland.

We booked Daly's House because we saw that it rated #1 for B&B in Ireland. It really does deserve that rating. For friendliness, local knowledge, hosting, location and going that extra mile for the guests.
