Jim and his home were wonderful! Jim was very proactive and helpful. The property is stunning — we really enjoyed the peaceful setting, the stunning views, and the pond. Jim had everything all set up for us to have a huge bonfire — I basically got it going with one match! We really enjoyed the game room, cooking meals in the kitchen, and all the cousins loved staying in the bunk room with all the beds. :) We also appreciated the easy 25 minute drive to the Cooperstown All Star Village. Being at this property helped us make the most of our son’s time at Cooperstown — we got to see his games and be involved there, but also enjoy the retreat away from it all. Everything about our stay was effortless — many thanks to Jim for being such a great host.

Had another great stay here on our annual Cooperstown golf weekend. We always look forward to staying here. House is beautiful and always in perfect order. Enjoy sitting by the fire at night reviewing our day and chatting. Thanks again for a great weekend!

This place was exactly what we needed for a family get-together. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and well thought out. We got in after dark, so we didn’t see much at first—but waking up to a beautiful view and three deer in the yard was a great way to kick things off. The weather was perfect, and we made the most of it—walked the trail, took the paddle boat out, did a little fishing, and just enjoyed being outside on the amazing deck. We sat by the bonfire one night that Jim had set up for us and have s’mores, which Sue had left for us. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and had everything we needed, including some antiques which we enjoyed admiring. Jim and Sue were great hosts—easy to communicate with and clearly put a lot of care into the place. We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave.

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for a golf weekend in Cooperstown. Absolutely fabulous house with plenty of room for all of us. Well appointed kitchen so we cooked when we wanted, had 2 nights at the fire pit, played pool in the game room and overall had a great stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Jim came up on the day we arrived to welcome us and we had a great talk. Will definitely be looking to book again next year when we come back for our annual golf weekend.
