The hotel is very central and the host extremely kind and available.
The room was facing the inner courtyard, which led to reduced privacy and light throughout the night, despite the curtains. Overall, the structure is a bit old.

The room was large and spacious with LOTS of outlets for charging devices. The bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable with adequate blankets. The breakfast was freshly cooked with eggs customized as needed, fresh Peruvian bread, dark Peruvian coffee, cut fresh fruit and juice. The hostess and breakfast host were kind and friendly. Close to Paza de Mayor, about 6 min walk and nice Kusi restaurant that was inexpensive, set meal for 15 soles.
The room space heater was too small for the space and didn't keep us warm. The hot water in the shower ran out after the 1st person used it. The noise from the next door room opening their door traveled through the window as was the breakfast noise through the open foyer to our 2nd floor, waking us up in the morning... and we are not light sleepers. Bathroom could use hooks to hang towels and clothes.

This is the second time we’ve stayed and couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. For the price you get a clean room with a good breakfast, very helpful staff and compared to many places a bit of peace. While we were away they kept our bags safe and even allowed our washing to be dropped off while we were gone. When we got back late at night our bags and fresh laundry was in our room. Thank you Casa Durand.
