We absolutely loved our stay at VIP Paradise, I MUST SAY WOW - it exceeded our expectations. The beautifully decorated accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and more: extra pillows and blankets, a washing machine, a dryer, beach towels, and even a little chair for our baby. We were travelling with twins and really appreciated the cot provided. The host communicated clearly, sent the instructions in good time, and made check-in very smooth. Being just a minute from the beach was wonderful. We were surprised by how well equipped the place was, even compared with a hotel. Thank you to the host for such a lovely stay and all the care!

The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave early for our flight home. We would have loved to stay a few more days!

Great location. Both the beach and restaurants are really close. A private parking space is a big plus, although parking in the garage is not easy, I am glad that I had my own space for the car

Sehr gut ausgestattetes großes Appartment in der Top Lage (Sandstrand von Machico ganz in der Nähe!). Es war wirklich alles dabei - genügend Tücher, Strandtücher, Geschirrspüler Tabs, in der Küche alle Utensilien, wir haben auch noch einen kleinen Wilkommensgeschenk bekommen (Paar Getränke, 4 Kaffeekapseln, und Wein). Wir haben dort nicht gekocht, aber wenn man will, könnte man auch (Herd, Mikrowelle, sogar Airfryer da). Die Waschküche mit der Waschmaschine - mit 2 Kapseln Waschmittel und Weichspüler. Garage ist in der Gegend total wichtig, da die Straßen neben dem Strand alle zugeparkt sind. Parken war unproblematisch, mit dem Mietwagen kleiner/mittlerer Klasse völlig ok (man muss nah an die Wand). Die Hosts waren sehr zuvorkommend, immer schnell die Fragen beantwortet (zwar immer auf Portugiesisch, dafür ist aber Google Translate da :-)) Wir haben uns in dem Appartment wohl gefühlt und würden gerne nochmals kommen.

Appartment an sich hat damit zwar nichts zu tun, aber wir haben eine Festivalwoche in Machico erwischt, mit lauter Musik bis um 2:00 nachts. Das Problem: Appartment hat leider keine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer (nur 2 Ventillatoren), und man konnte wegen der Lautstärke der Konzerte nicht mit offenen Fenstern schlafen. Die Kaffeemachine ist komisch (wahrschienlich war es die Einstellung, aber ich habe es nicht geschafft, nomalen Kaffee damit zu machen, nur micro espresso, egal welche Tassengröße man wählt), und man kann nicht die Nespresso Kapseln nutzen, es ist ein anderes System. Kleine Empfehlung noch für die Hosts: im Schlafzimmer gibt es keinen freien Steckdosen an Nachtständer, genau da wo man normalerweise Handy/Tablets lädt. Ich musste die Nachtlampe vom Stecker ziehen, um diese Steckdose zu nutzen. Ein Mehrfachstecker dort würde vielen helfen!
