We loved this place, one of the best we’ve been in during many years of self catering. Really welcoming and friendly owners, spotlessly clean, well equipped, great value for money, great pub with great food 400 yards away, what’s not to like? Buy some bird seed, put it out on the patio and be treated to a ringside seat to watch the local bird life. Also a few carrots for Poppett, the friendly miniature Shetland pony at the top of the field. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Our third visit to the Stables and once again not disappointed. We'll definitely be returning.

Lovely cottage, very warm and comfortable. Access driveway only downside, getting bumpy and muddy for time of year. Lovely hosts, and pony was a surprise, loved his apple each day.

Lovely cottage quiet and well equipped
