The Oberoi Marrakech

Wow wow wow!! The most unreal and magical stay from the moment we were picked up from the airport to our very last day. Our stay included airport transfers which was very handy as we did not need to think about trying to get a taxi after a long flight. Our driver was on time waiting for us as soon as we landed. The car was fully air conditioned and cold water was stocked. As soon as we arrived to the hotel we were mesmerised by the attention to detail that surrounded the hotel from the architecture, to the lighting, to the mosaic walls and art. We were kindly given a brief tour of the hotel which was thorough and clear. The hotel staff and I communicated via WhatsApp message, so there was no need to keep calling the reception. Our room over looked a beautiful landscape. The hotel has a range of restaurants, bars and in room dining. We decided to have dinner at the Indian restaurant Rivyat which was so delicious. I really can’t recommend a better hotel who defines luxury than the Oberoi.

This hotel is a great stay away from the city centre of Marrakesh, it is the perfect stay for a relaxing holiday away from the busy streets. It is approximately 25-30 min drive from the airport to the hotel and 20 min drive to the city.

Photos do not do this place justice. We picked this hotel as the first part of our honeymoon and it was everything we hoped for and more. Not only is it tranquil and beautiful (set on acres of olive and citrus groves), the staff and amenities are world-class. Every detail and moment of our stay was perfect :) Do yourself a favour and book it! Ps. There are adorable donkeys on site and visit the falconry if you get the chance! 😭😭😭

It is a magical place that feels more like a retreat than a hotel. The staff is incredibly caring from the moment you walk in until the drop off at the airport back. The best 5* experience we have ever had.
