Terradimare Resort&Spa

We spent an incredible holiday at Terradimare Resort & Spa in San Teodoro, Sardinia, this August, and honestly, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It was everything we could have asked for and more, and it has quickly become a very special place to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible. Every single person we met was warm, friendly and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. As a vegetarian, I was also really impressed by how accommodating the hotel was. They were always happy to cater for me, including providing plant-based soy milk at breakfast, which made such a difference. We absolutely loved the food. Breakfast and lunch had a great variety of freshly prepared options, with something for everyone, and we looked forward to both every day. The pool area was also fantastic, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and a really relaxing atmosphere. We spent most days around the pool and made the most of the incredibly extensive cocktail menu. My partner actually worked his way through almost the entire list! Our favourites were definitely the Moscow Mule and Sex on the Beach — both delicious and really well made. We especially want to give a very special thank you to Begnamino, the barman, who genuinely made our holiday even more special. His warmth, friendliness and fantastic skills behind the bar made such a lasting impression on us. Whenever Begnamino was working, we always made sure to have a drink that evening. He would welcome us with the biggest smile, was always genuinely happy to see us and would often bring our drinks over to us. It was those little personal touches that made us feel so welcome and looked after. We were so grateful for everything Begnamino did that we wanted to personally thank him, so we gave him a bottle of his favourite wine as a small gift. He really deserves a special mention — he was a huge part of what made our stay so memorable.

We had a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, everything organized and clean. The spa was great and the prices of the spa services are not so high compared to other places, hopefully they will keep them that way. We will be back!

Lovely surroundings with well-manicured gardens, clean pool, room (#505) well-maintained with a patio for sitting and drying wet beach attire. Excellent buffet breakfast included with everything one would want for a healthy meal. Free on-sight parking. Easy access to downtown San Teodoro if one has a car, but many restaurants in walking distance. The pool was spectacular; if one didn't want to go to the beach the pool provided for sun or shade. Loved the idea of having a poolside bar open during the day and long into the night; even after the pool closed at 20:00.

I would have like a hot water kettle in the room, but that being said, the poolside bar provided hot water for tea which was much appreciated. Not sure why the pool closes at 20:00. Even one more hour would be great during those hot summer nights.

To be honest, everything is outdated. The breakfasts are okay for Italy. But there isn't much variety, and I think they're expensive. We had a room with a kitchen. It was very small, the fridge didn't work well, and the food went bad. The kitchen wasn't really equipped for cooking full meals. An uncomfortable mattress on the bed
