Hotel Arena

Czysty zadbany obiekt, ale trochę zdała od malowniczych krajobrazów, plaż i centrum Sirmione. Podziemny parking jest dużym atutem, czyste i przestronne pokoje.

Śniadania bardzo słabe, mały wybór, dodatkowo płatne espresso ,( we Włoszech???(((() Cena espresso raptem 1,5 euro i jest to taka drobna niemiła pazernosc gospodarzy. Prosiliśmy o dwie godziny późniejsze wymeldowanie, żeby się wyspać, ale właściciel odmówił. Ogólnie chyba więcej nie wrócimy tu, stosunek jakości do ceny kiepski.

The beds - mattresses quite thin , I’ve experienced this before in Italy One of the hosts on reception during the day - is she a headmistress or a host ? Bossy and stern , all the other staff extremely friendly

The hotel itself is very clean, well equipped and overall ok. The pool is great, they provide pool towels and plenty of loungers. Free parking is also great . The breakfast is good- nothing over the top, but ok (scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, few kinds of ham, cheese, jams, cereal, some fresh fruits). I loved the wonderfull, white, fluffy towels in the room and plenty of them. The bathroom had a bidet. The provided shower gel had a wonderful scent. The water pressure was very good.They rent bikes for free according to availability, but there were plenty of them, so that's a big advantage. AC was ok, efficient enough. The room had nice furniture.

The room we received was awfully dark and had a basement feel. The room was economy, so I wasn't expecting it to be anything outstanding, but it was never advertised that it had a window facing the porch with tables for guests, that people were using for breakfast and sit and chill, smoke, etc. The tables were so close to the window, that you could hear all the talks and if opened the window, you could high five the person sitting at the table. It felt literally like you slept next to the table (not more than 2 m from your bed to the closest table). You could literally inhale smoke from the cigarettes of people sitting so close to your window. Also the tables were underneath a huge sunroof which made the room so dark that you had to use the artificial light all day long. To make it worse, the lights in the room weren't sufficient enough and it was completely dimm all the time. It felt awfull. Literally like some kind of basement. Also the room was adjacent to staffs room where they had all the supplies and it was really loud once they started their shift. It feels like the room shouldn't be offered to anyone, especially for the price we paid. There was no bottled water supplied at the room except for the first two bottles at the arrival. The bathroom was well equipped, but the shower was so small that you couldn't turn or bend to wash yourself and trying to do so ended up in multiple bruises on your arms from hitting the faucet. It was the smallest I've ever encountered- I don't know if it's the same in other rooms. There was no sufficient light to do make-up - the bathroom had additional light, but the sink is so huge that you stand so far from the mirror that you cant see your face good enough. My opinion would probably be much better if not for this exact room we received. I think it shouldn't be in the offer at all.
