Clean, comfortable and pleasant environment. We were greeted by a welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel was strategically located near popular tourist attractions. The neighboring breakfast restaurant La Excentrica was exceptionally nice and very personal!.

Great location, clean room (alas quite small) and bathroom. Towels provided. Kettle and cups right outside of the room. Check in process was quick and the girl in reception nice and helpful.
Instructions send in booking com msg told me to click a link to pay but it was already paid so it seemed misleading, I didnt click it. The code to my room didnt work, only physical card. The room was smaller than I thought. I added breakfast but it wasn't what I expected - it was in a restaurant nearby and there was a set menu of only few options. It was tasty tho - I ordered sandwich.

The hotel is really of the heart of downtown, it’s minutes walk to plaza de mayor, gran via and la Latina. Location 10/10.
No carpet in bathroom. One of the towels I got had some pink spots other than that they were super clean.

The location is great. Central, walking distance to many major sights.
The concept of a hostel within a regular house is a bit odd. The room was quite small. The value for money is definitely not a thing here in Madrid - for the same price in many other capitals you get a much better accommodation. There are also hotels in Madrid for about the same price with better facilities.
