Manor Of Groves Hotel, Golf & Health Club

The staff and food were excellent. Dinner was particularly nice so the chef is great. Easy check-in/check-out. The room and location was very quiet.

I don't think the room had been vacuumed as the floor had bits on it you could feel with bare feet. Also, I choose this hotel for the spa facilities and neither the jacuzzi or sauna were in operation. No aircon in the room and only a fan that didn't work, so I fixed it for the next guest.

Nice hotel in spacious surroundings. Nice room, not exceptional but ok The receptionist was very helpful when we booked in. The restaurant was was very good, good service and excellent food.

There was no lounge as such, The entrance foyer, bar and seating area were all together it was ok but a bit disappointing. If you are relaxing after a days drive do you really want to watch people checking in? The hotel had a swimming pool and gym which were really good but the ladies toilet in that area was down a steep staircase which wasn't brilliant.

We recently stayed here for a large party event, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our entire stay. A special mention goes to Cody, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after! Our room was clean and very tidy, providing a comfortable space to relax. Catering for a massive group can be tough, but the food for the party was absolutely great—impressive quality considering it was for over 300 people. I will definitely stay here again next year! Highly recommended.

The breakfast staff was less attentive.

Staff were great and overall the hotel was ok

Very modern in the communal areas but rooms dated and mould on the bathroom ceiling
