Castlecary House Hotel

One of the best hotels I have been in through my work stays, the amazing room I got, staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, full of taste, I'm happy with my stay at this hotel

I liked everything so I don't have any negative word or to describe... Just to maintain and keep your guest happy do way you all be doing basic on my experience obviously.

Got a free room upgrade. Room had large bathroom and good shower

Old building with sash windows, lot of road noise outside from 6am

The room we had was in clean and well kept. The shower had great pressure which meant for a very relaxing wash. We liked that our room was away from the main hotel building, especially as there was an event on which meant our stay was unaffected by the noise.

Nothing that we can think of

I had a family room for myself and my two younger children which was very spacious.

On my second night, the function room was in use for a birthday party. The music was incredibly loud in my room. We were not guests at the function and had real difficulty sleeping. Not best to place a family with young children above a booked function room who not part of the celebration. A room in a different part or the hotel would have been preferred. Loud music until midnight. Contemplated leaving the hotel that night due to noise. Disappointed.
