Tomato Urban Retreat

Great hostel overall. The location is very convenient and you can walk to pretty much anywhere in the city. It was clean, the facilities were exactly what you would expect, and the common areas and café created a nice social atmosphere. Good value for money as well.

It would be nice if the beds had privacy curtains or blinds, as many other hostels do. The entrance was also a little difficult to find at first.

The comfort of this place is outstanding: big bedrooms with well-separated beds, towels and AC, a great coffee/common room that is especially well suited for remote work. Moreover, everything is very clean, and the decoration is modern and cozy. It really feels like a good hotel! You will particularly like it if you are working remotely and are looking for a quiet and comfortable place. However, note that it's not a "social" hostel. Interactions were very minimal.

This is not a “social” hostel. When I was there, everyone was doing their own business and interactions were minimal. The staff were just doing their job. No special connections were created. Just like in a hotel. But if you’re simply looking for a comfortable place to sleep, chill, or work, go for it without hesitation!

5-person mixed dorm room, clean & spacious.

Just to take note, reservation was made many months ahead, and states that i am a senior, requesting for lower bunk bed. Try not to put senior in attic where the lift cannot reach. Carrying luggage up the steep steps to the attic is a little challenging :) I almost miss a step coming out of the room because the door opens immediately to a step downward.

Good facilities, and the location was good.

The A/C was little more than a fan, and the room got far too hot.
