We stayed in a beautiful Rorbu cabin, it was spotlessly clean and very cozy and warm for our October stay. It is in a stunning location with museums and art exhibitions on site. We had fish for dinner, expertly prepared - absolutely delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Oh and the breakfast was also superb! Thank you - highly recommended!

We found the manager exceptional. SHe provided us with laminated maps to borrow and showed us exactly wear to charge our car, pick up groceries, meet a tour as well as gave us suggestions while we were staying there. She checked in with us and when our room was not ready, she made sure it was finished quickly and offered us coffee while we waited. She made a big difference in how much we enjoyed our stay. Since the place had a refrigerator, we had breakfast in the two bedroom cabin.
Two staff members came to our room to say the smoke alarm went off. We invited us into the cabin but they said they were going back to check on their side. As there was no phone in the room and it was raining, we expected them to return with an update but they did not. Because , we did not see any smoke and felt safe it was less of an issue but they should have followed up. Otherwise, despite the poor weather, the place was perfect. They even had some wonderful books with photography to enjoy.

Staff and Location
Madeleine at the front desk was very helpful. Informed use about rode closure, places to visit and Aurora application
As we arrived late she checked with the restaurant staff if we could have dinner and the restaurant helped us.
