Hôtel Langlois

The location was excellent. There are various transport links nearby (Metro, RER, bus). The breakfast was the same all three days, but it was good enough for a city break.

The rooms have very poor soundproofing. You can hear all the neighbors above, below, and to the sides. You can hear every neighbor going to the bathroom or, worse, every footstep from the neighbors upstairs or in the hotel hallway, because the flooring is made of wood. We understand the building's history, which is why we gave such a high rating, but we couldn't sleep well at all. On top of that, the cleaning service starts at 6 or 7 in the morning, and as I mentioned, you can hear everything. You wouldn't want to know what the cleaning lady's vacuum cleaner sounds like at 6 a.m.

Breakfast was simple but plenty with good breads, cheeses and fruit with juices, eggs, hot beverages. Delicious start to the day.The location is central and close to the metro and bus stop.

Shower drain was slow otherwise a very luxurious size and well appointed. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. The whole place is small, quaint, and gorgeous.

The staff is super friendly, free sparkling and mineral water ! Everyday ! Very near to the Lafayette and the location is great ! The ambiance and decor is very vintage as well.

Old world building and great location. Lots of towels.

paint peeling in the bathroom, plastic shower curtain, very hot room, filthy balcony with cobwebs(so we were afraid to open the window to let fresh air in), dirty corners and molding. Dirty power strip and outlet filthy. Water was yellow when I first tried to take a bath with an added bonus of a water bug/beetle showing up. Hotel needs an overdo!
