Mary Cards Coach House

The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic with restaurants and cafes only a 2 minute walk down the road. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom and the spa bath were fantastic. The kitchen and breakfast amenities were generous and suited us for our weekend away. The check in instructions were clear and the self check in was seamless.

Easy to find. Hosts good communicators. Very comfortable. Walking distance to local places. Spotless. Generous breakfasts. Ideal parking. Will definitely hope to return.

It was as in a good location. A short walk to shops. It was very private. The bedding was high quality. The food in our fridge was good quality we especially enjoyed the bacon.

Nothing really. We were missing a few kitchen utensils for cooking fried eggs, cut tomatoes.

Beautiful building and grounds, and the room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The four-poster bed was gorgeous. The hosts kindly accommodated dietary restrictions with a generous breakfast ingredient basket, and thought of lots of little details to make us feel welcome. It was a real treat not to have to worry about dishes too! Handy location just a short walk from bus stop, supermarket, cafes etc. Would definitely return.

Hard to find anything to criticise really, especially with such great value for money. It was slightly awkward using the little bathroom sink to fill the kettle (the kitchenette doesn't have a dedicated sink, which is pretty common to be fair), but considering it's an historic building the renovations make really efficient use of the space. Definitely not a real complaint :)
