Queenstown Village Apartments

The location is great, close to the airport and restaurants. We had an early flight the next day, and staying in this apartment made our trip a lot easier.

Overall everything is good.

Unfortunately we had no view - we weren’t guaranteed a view, but for 2 nights it would have been nice to have one No windows to open… only doors to the deck. TV only really had 2 channels to pick from, other channels were church channels

Location was excellent for where we needed to be. Loved the access to the lakeside and the coffee and breakfast at the Hilton was good

The carpets need a thorough vacuum. The carpet along the edges of the rooms, behind the bedside tables, inside the wardrobes, was dirty and dusty. The furniture in the main bedroom was also dusty, bedside tables and lamps, etc. The lighting in the bedrooms and the bathrooms is insufficient, and having a full length mirror would be recommended. We were in Queenstown for a formal event and it was difficult getting ready without good lighting and decent mirrors. Suggest having large refillable soap dispensers in the showers and by hand basins, like in most hotels. And having a dark facecloth for makeup removal. The small black pillows in the bedrooms need replacing, they are tired. A spare blanket in each of the bedrooms would have been good. A water jug to put in the fridge to have cold water also would have been good. When we arrived the apartment had a stale smell, it needed airing out. And it smelled of indian curry. I hope you consider this feedback as it is given genuinely, for you to make improvements for others. I would suggest that better cleaning of the carpets is the top priority.
