A very quaint little property. Set beside the hilltop village of Montalcino. Our hosts Marcella was wonderful. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast at the property. The view was amazing. It was a short walk into town. Just ask about short cut.

Nothing

We enjoyed the location, the atmosphere and the hostess was very warm and welcoming. Great breakfast to start our day. Convenient 15 minute walk between the groves.

Everything was great.

Location to town and view

Room was dark and wi fi spotty

Room, View from the window. Free parking

Location: I didnt realise that it was that far away from the village (for my liking). If you want to stay close to the village with no need to take a car or walk for 15mins (to get to the entrance of the village) this hotel is not for you. Breakfast: very very very very very basic. I stayed the previous night at a similarly priced hotel and the breakfast was outstanding. So no excuse... When I go back to Montalcino I ll book another hotel. In all fairness there was nothing in particular that put me off but the stay was just indifferent, like staying in a hotel close to the highway (just for the night so you can move on to more interesting things the next day).
