Idyllic location. Next door to coffee shop and across the green to a pub with grub. Quiet and snuggly accomodation. Cosy traditional cottage complete with the front lounge which seats three comfortably. You can picture dinner on trays (which are provided) in front of the television and log burner. Yet has a spacious well equipped back kitchen with a table and couple of chairs for those who prefer to sit at a table. Good welcome manual with instructions on how to operate appliances. Upstairs the main double bed has room to walk around and a view of the green. In the back single box room the bed is positioned to utilise the window shelf as a you would a bedside cabinet and having it this way also allows a view to see the sunrise. Headroom throughout good for such an old cottage. Lovely and clean

The back garden is undervalued space across the linked cottages. No separating boundaries or enclosed area for your canines. If the owners would join forces this outside area could be a haven by utilising the space for children, pets, washing, bicycles, loungers or thinking even further a hot tub/sauna. Obviously the shower/toilet room is small being a cottage, but it is fit for purpose.

Yes, a very comfortable, clean cottage. Had all the basic needs. The lounge area was especially comfortable.

The parking was a bit of a nightmare as the village had an event on. The garden definitely could do with some privacy or some arrangement where you're not looking at neighbours gardens and some of their household items strewn all over the place. Needs a better outlook.

The location is fair, but the setting is better: overlooking the village green with a coffee shop/post office alongside, and good village pub on the other side of the green. Kitchen is well equipped, although very dated, and the oven glass needed cleaning (we didn't actually use this, or most of the facilities). Owners responded quickly.

Very steep and narrow, twisting staircase. "Double" bed was very narrow, which lead to disturbed sleep and, ultimately, using the single bed which sagged. Bathroom is very small. Stale milk and butter in the fridge, and two dirty towels hanging around, which we reported to the owners. They responded quickly to remove the towels, but the milk bottle was left for us to dispose of (we had already disposed of the butter).
