the landscape, the ambient of the guesthouse, the kindness of the host and the good chat. Breakfast was good and really helpful to wake up. beds were really good

too many people for too little bathrooms, also one bathroom was all flooded due to some guest that shower and got all water outside the shower square. steps in the staircase were too steep.

The house was clean and spacious. There was a well stocked kitchen for making meals. Breakfast was included.

The property is a bit of a drive from the main road.

Bed is medium to soft, the blanket cover could be softer, but these are personal preference

This is a type of accomodation which made our stay in Iceland such a wonderful experience - the homey, welcoming feeling, like you are visiting relatives. From the look and decor of the house, taking off your shoes inside the property and chatting with the owners at breakfast - we loved it all. The house has a lot of history and plenty of details that remind you that this is a family home and that it has been here for a long long time. Our room was a bit on the smaller side (for the 4 of us and our 2 large pieces of luggage), but that wasn't a problem at all. We were located at the top floor of the house and we had great views of the beautiful nature from our windows. Beds were very comfortable and we slept like babies. The shared bathroom was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was simple but fulfilling, there were sweet and savoury options and fresh fruit and yoghurts. We had our breakfast in a beautiful room with wonderful furniture and the owners came to greet us and chat with us, which we loved. We only stayed for one night, but our experience was great and we would definitely recommend this accomodation.
