Dubrovnik Rooms

The apartments is quite good. The room was cleen and comfortable. There were two bathrooms and one kitchen for 3 or 4 rooms. The view from the terrace was incredible!

The apartments are located quite high from the beach, so each day you have to go through lots of stairs firstly downwards and then back upwards. That was really difficult

The hosting family while speaking little English was exceptionally nice! Your main host on the phone does speak English well and always is ready to help, provides quick solutions and made everything perfect! They even gave me a lime which I appreciated a lot!

Well, surely the place is not perfect or a 5 star hotel, but you judge based on how much you pay and for this price can’t complain much! Minor issues like shower drains draining slow sometimes or the stairs to get to the place being just too many but that’s. Or the locations fault

We liked the location as it wasn’t too far from the old town (30 mins walk, though granted with a few stairs but that’s Dubrovnik to you) and close to Lapland which worked perfectly for us. The view from the apartment is also beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating with some requests (e.g. leaving bags there as our flight was later during the day). I read a review about the AC unit not working but it worked great for us.

The shower in our bathroom leaked a bit after showering but it wasn’t a huge deal

Property looks tired & in need of decorative, furniture & equipment upgrades etc. Double room was very basic. Hilly location, lots of stairs to reach it on the hill if not arriving by transport. No wardrobe, sink , mirror, table or bin in the room. Split mattress of two singles to form a king. Annoying if you are sleeping solo on the middle of the bed. But the room had a hat stand lol. Two small bedside drawer units. Shower tray slow to drain, hot water only lasted 3 minutes before turning cold. Kitchen looked useable but I didn’t use it.
