Beautiful sea views: Our villa was in the first row, just behind the main bar and pool area, and this gave us a fantastic view of the sea from both the private pool and the bedroom. Spacious villa: The villa was very spacious, with air conditioning in every room and a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Fantastic private outdoor space: This was probably our favourite part of the villa. The private pool, sun loungers, outdoor dining table, and open-air living area were incredibly cosy and made it very easy to spend most of the day outside. Very peaceful and relaxing: During our stay, it honestly felt a little bit like having our own private island. Of course, I imagine this could feel quite different during high season, but while we were there it was wonderfully peaceful. Beautiful sunsets: The location is perfect for enjoying sunsets and relaxing in nature. Private BBQ: Every villa has its own BBQ, and we really enjoyed making fresh souvlaki for dinner in the evenings. Before we arrived, I asked whether we could use it, and the staff were very accommodating and even provided us with a bag of charcoal. Friendly staff and daily cleaning: The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the villa was cleaned every day.

Very remote location: The seclusion is part of the appeal, but it also means that visiting many of Kefalonia's main attractions can take around 1–1.5 hours by car. A car is definitely recommended. No swimming directly in front of the villas: Although the complex is directly on the seafront, the shoreline is quite rocky and isn't suitable for swimming. The closest proper beach for us was Xi Beach, around 15 minutes away by car. Some areas need maintenance: The villa looks great overall, but there are some signs of age. For example, some of the window frames are starting to deteriorate, and the paintwork in the bathrooms could use a refresh. Limited kitchen worktop space: The kitchen appliances themselves are modern and good quality, but the staircase to the second floor takes up quite a lot of the available counter space, which makes the kitchen a little less practical than it could be. Lots of insects: There were quite a few insects around the property, although this is completely understandable given the natural and secluded setting and it wasn't really an issue for us.

Beautiful peaceful location, the stylish interior and the pool was perfect for us and the spacious villa was amazing. Air conditioning perfect. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

We liked everything but as end of season a-few minor repairs needed. Shutter doors and fixtures need attention, nothing to stop us having a perfect holiday.

LOVED our time at Kymata! Beautiful place, fantastic customer service from Antigone and Nikos and the cleaning team. It’s a very quiet, piece of paradise tucked away with so much going for it. The pool was a great size and really warm, communal pool, bar and restaurant were fantastic, the cove beach was great for rockpooling / swimming - we had such a lovely time. We loved the welcome pack and the sea views! We even got a couple of days upgrade to a villa on the front which was really nice.

It’s not a criticism at all but a more comfortable sofa area would make it even more perfect.

Villa g7 Around the pool the paving slabs were broke. No one came to clean the pool, small nets that didn’t reach the bottom were given to do it yourselves. Mattresses had mould on them. Water coming up through the drains whenever you flushed the toilet. Shower tray over flowing when you washed. Damp smell in the villa.
