Hotel Villa Malpensa

Great restaurant

A good place to stay when travelling to/from Malpensa airport. Very conveniently located, five minutes from the terminal and not exactly on the airport premises. Nice spacious room, good shower. Good breakfast buffet.

The bar for some reason had very little to offer. the first 3 things we asked were all "out of stock". The restaurant was fine. Don't forget to book the shuttle bus (which is NOT free....).

It is a beautiful villa, a stones throw from the airport but in the countryside with wonderful short local walk around the medieval village (no shops or cafes) but very interesting. Loved the pool which was still operational. The restaurant meal was probably one of our best in italy-authentic and varied menu. Grateful for the room mini bar/snacks because the villa bar does not open until late afternoon and the restaurant opens 7pm. (Alternatively there is a room service menu) Very smart bathroom facilities. A lovely place to spend our last night in italy.

We loved our stay but found the pick up shuttle service from the airport a bit confusing ( had to ring the hotel 3x) but a breeze being dropped back the next day. Lovely driver who lifted our very heavy bags with ease.

Proximity to airport.

Nothing to do in the area unless you have a car. The restaurant is mediocre at best.
