Amalia Hotel Athens

Location was close to many of the sights. Breakfast spoilt for choice, and food was hot. Room good size AND had a kettle.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is clean,comfortable and has a good situation in Athens. It is conveniently situated for many attractions with easy access to the underground, trams and buses. An easy 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. Avery nice breakfast is provided. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar with fabulous views around the city. I think this hotel is really good value for money. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

the location and balcony were amazing, the bed was comfortable and had a great big bathroom.

the furniture and carpet in the rooms were old, chipped and stained. had some serious wear and tare. had no coffee machine which is cray at that nightly price point. The gym was so tiny and useless. the rooftop doesn't really have a real bar, its just a restaurant and not much space to go out and actually enjoy the view. also the demographic of the clients was not what i was expecting a young solo female traveler.
