Hostel Lollis Homestay Dresden

Very friendly - the staff put a lot of effort into putting on free events. They also have great taste in music :-) The free dinner especially was great for socialising. Attracts a great crowd: everyone up for conversation but also respectful if you just want to sit in your own company. Room (women's dorm) was spacious and clean. Location great - easy to access several tram lines and the S bahn for visiting Meissen and Saxon Switzerland. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Neighbourhood not as noisy as expected - shut windows at night and most of sound blocked out.

Kitchen very small. Only really space for 2-3 people max to cook at the same time. Seemed to be only 2 showers on our floor, with one of them basically a bath turned into a shower with metal panelling (didn't use this one as couldn't hang clothes anywhere). I showered in the afternoon to avoid peak times

The 5 persons apartment was absolutely lovely. Very spacious, clean and the amenities were excellent. We continued to hang out with the people we met at the free dinner and it was really awesome. The staff and guests are great, no weirdness at all!

Everything, this stay was great for my partner and I. We had a private dorm in a hostel and we would return to this accommodation if we were to ever return to Dresden.

The staff and volunteers were awesome. Great options for travelers. Very pleasant atmosphere. Complete breakfast. Free tea and coffee were available every morning for everyone. Very well organized.

Just a few minor things: the room door needed lubrication. Quite noisy at night. The magnetic door opener never worked 100% properly. The laundry service at 8 Euros felt quite expensive.
