The location of this hotel is excellent, situated right on the main town square next to the town hall. It is incredibly convenient to reach, requiring just a short 4-stop bus ride from the Schwyz train station. Overall, the room itself was quite nice.

However, the major downside is that the hotel lacks air conditioning. Because of this, we had to leave the windows wide open to keep the room cool and ventilated. Since the windows face the lively square directly, the non-stop noise from the surrounding restaurants, bars, and passing traffic made it nearly impossible to sleep. My advice to fellow travelers: do not be completely blinded by the perfect location. Sometimes, staying a bit further from the bustling center is the only way to get a decent night's rest.

Friendliness of the staff, from the moment we arrived we felt really welcome(almost at a friend's house) the lady from the reception was really friendly, thanks for that. The location is beautiful, would love to come back in the wonderwinter time, must be pitoresque.

Parking is paid(pakring agrage) and not adjacent to the hotel, but not the end of the world.

The staff was extremely warm friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with great options and the service was exceptional too !! 5* for staff and breakfast. However the hotel was extremely noisy and we couldn’t sleep a single night due to the high noise level. They did provide ear plugs but they were of little help given the hi level of noise due the bar right across the street and the cathedral which would ring the bell 🔔 multiple times every hour. Would have appreciated a heads up about this before booking our stay. If not for the noise we would have loved to stay again.
