De Kruumte

We had an amazing stay. The facility is located walking distance to the centre to the village. Rooms were clean and large. The breakfast was amazing. They provided anything you wanted, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Esther was a fantastic host.

Everything was great.

Loved this place. Esther is a great host and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. Great hotel, plenty of parking, spacious well presented room with super clean bathroom. Breakfast was ample and I made my order the evening before. The Dutch toast with butter and jam was very tasty. Giethoorn doesn't have a town centre as such, it is a number of restaurants scattered along the canal but it is beautiful. The pavilion with the panoramic views was great. Further down the canal there's a cluster of restaurants, a museum and a convenience store. The view from my window was stunning, especially at sunrise.

Outside lighting from the car park to hotel would be good. I had to use the torch on my mobile phone. There were a couple of tiny shower gels provided. I was a solo traveller and had to use both for my shower.

What a fantastic place we honestly can’t recommend it enough !!! Ester was wonderful, breakfast delicious & only a 10 minute walk into town We highly recommend staying here
