Le Lagon

Upon arrival, check-in was easy using a code. The parking area is very secure and spacious, situated behind a protective wall with a sturdy, electrically operated gate. Our room was on the first floor, accessible via a wooden outdoor staircase in the garden. There is a spacious terrace with a view right outside the accommodation. Guests are welcome to use the heated hot tub located in the garden below. A small hallway led into the living/sleeping area, which was furnished with a two-seater sofa, a chair, a coffee table, and two very large beds placed side-by-side (each measuring 210 x 100 cm). A large flat-screen TV was mounted on the wall. The bathroom is very small but contains all the essentials: a shower cubicle, a toilet, and a small sink. In warm weather, you can open the French doors leading to the terrace or use the air conditioning. We found only one available power outlet in the living/sleeping area. There was plenty of lighting. Breakfast is served in a basket and includes yogurt, bottled fruit juice, coffee and tea, jam, honey, some bread (previously frozen), a few small pancakes, maple syrup, and grapes. The price-performance ratio is well-balanced. The beds—arguably the most important feature of a B&B—are excellent and ensure a good night's sleep! In short, a great place for us to stay for the night. The host, Valerie was very friendly!

For someone like me, standing 1.93m tall, space is limited in the seating area and the bathroom/toilet. Regarding breakfast—especially in France—we expect fresh baguettes, croissants, and pains au chocolat, not frozen bread.

A very friendly host, a comfortable room, and a splendid breakfast. We arrived in torrential rain, and the host rushed out to give us umbrellas!
