Beautiful aesthetic, right near the beach, gorgeous views, lovely staff, great breakfast

The people, the interior, the view everything, it’s a beautiful place which feels like home, it has an excellent breakfast and is just a magic place to be ❤️

We had a bed with 2 single mattresses which was very uncomfortable. The toilet seat was the cheapest I have seen and didn’t work out for such a place. Everything else was top.

Elegant boutique hotel, with tasty rooms and charming staff

Rooms are a bit cold in winter (and there is no inverted air conditioning to warm them).

1. Overall nicely designed, attention to detail, clean 2. Very friendly and polite staff 3. Good location - few steps down to the beach, from there you can also easily walk to Tofo town within 5/10mins through the beach

- [ ] Room 6 (and also 5) are right next to the open plan kitchen. This means that you get woken up every morning at 7:00 to the sound and smell of breakfast preparation (cutlery and crockery, coffee machine, staff conversing). This is very much the opposite of what I look for in a holiday. - [ ] The bathroom offers zero privacy (room 6): there is no actual door to the bathroom. This might not be so bad in the case of a larger room, or the bathroom being slightly out of the way - however there even is a window (no glass) from the bedroom into the bathroom. - [ ] There is no wifi in the room (room 6) - [ ] During our stay there was daily (6 days) construction work - mostly from surrounding lodges. While this obviously cannot be avoided, some compensation/gesture of goodwill would have been appropriate.
